The National Security Concepts of the Arab States and Iran

 The course aims at analyzing the sets of security considerations of the Arab states and Iran. In this framework, the course examines the following main aspects:

• The security dimension of the Middle East;
• Arab strategic goals and those of Iran;
• Their respective threat perceptions;
• And responses to the threats.

The course deals with both those aspects of national security which
are shared by most of the Arab states and those which are particular
to each of them.
