Prof. Robbie Sabel

Ambassador Robbie Sabel, PhD is Visiting Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law and at the Department of International Relations of the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He is a former Counselor for Political Affairs at the Israel Embassy, Washington, and later served as the Legal Adviser to the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Director General for Arms Control and Disarmament of the Ministry. Ambassador Sabel was Senior Visiting Scholar at George Washington University, a member of the Israel delegation to the UN General Assembly, to the Peace Talks with Egypt and Jordan and to the post Madrid talks with the Palestinians.
Among his publications: PROCEDURE IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES, (Cambridge University Press, Second Revised Edition 2005) (The book was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the American Society of International Law.) INTERNATIONAL LAW, (Hebrew University Faculty of Law, Second Revised Edition 2010) (A textbook in Hebrew).
