Dr. Roy Luria and a colleague published in Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience a paper challenging the view that Gestalt principles cause reflexive grouping. Their findings demonstrated that only a strong common fate Gestalt cue was able to override the objects ' initial separate status.

  • Department of Psychology has become The School of Psychological Sciences

    As of December 2011 the Department of Psychology has become The School of Psychological Sciences.

    This change reflects the pivotal scientific role Psychology now plays in the Tel Aviv University campus.

    It also reflects the understanding that Psychology deserves to stand among the harder sciences on the merit of its methodology.
